Gary, Thank you so much for this illumination of the Word. I was in desperate need of hearing it and the message was timely for me, New Year’s Eve. What can I say, it takes me awhile to get to these things. But, I was thrilled to have experienced that on this particular day. I had to chuckle when you mentioned how we pray to God that we are ready for anything He has for us and then wince and whine when He actually does something for us but not what WE expect. The Lord has led me throughout the year to pray that darkness be allowed to be truly dark that HIS light burn all the brighter. However, when I began to see the darkness actually growing darker and found myself saying, “…not THAT dark!” But, just kidding. I really mean to see God at work in all our lives and rejoice as I see the day for His return drawing near. I want so much to be perfectly ready for that return. I want Him to be pleased with me and those for whom I pray over. I look forward to hearing all the sessions on this subject…soon.
