Take your place in keeping the fire on the altar night and day
Our call and goal is to set the pillars in place for a 24/7 incense of prayer and worship before the Lord here in the Northwest. We want to give the Bride in our region the gift of knowing that any time of the day or night, there are lovers of Jesus who are calling on his name on their behalf, and declaring his goodness over the land.
This depends upon faithful followers of Jesus who have a desire to use and develop their giftings in song and musicianship to lift up Jesus and fuel the prayer ministry. Musicians and singers have an significant role to play in establishing the house of prayer – do you want to be a part of it?
Frequently Asked Questions
When are we going 24/7?
In God’s grace and timing, and as full- and part-time intercessory missionaries (singers, musicians, intercessors, and more) are added, we will go 24/7 as a house of prayer in the greater Seattle-Tacoma metro area for the Pacific Northwest. Is the Lord calling you to be a part of it?
Are singers & musicians needed?
Yes! Do you have a heart for prayer, and play an instrument and/or sing? You can join a worship team to keep the fire on the altar. Initial commitment is 3 months on your worship set, plus attending 1 more set each week to pray. Following the initial 3 months, you are free to continue with one of our teams or be done serving in this way (though we’d love to have you continue!).
Can I be part of another church/ministry and play on an International House of Prayer Northwest team?
Yes! We believe it is very important to be a part of a local church, whether that is in the corporate expression on Sunday mornings at the House of Prayer or another local church body. We ask, however, that you commit to be a part of your set (2 hours), pray for 1 more set (2 hours) per week, and participate in worship team trainings (normally the 2nd Saturday of every other month, but check the calendar for specifics).
