Community life in the House of Prayer

The Encountering God Service (EGS) is designed to invite God’s manifest presence, to bring honor to Jesus, ministry to others and cast vision and values of night and day prayer in the context of a growing community of families and individuals involved with IHOP-Northwest.

Each service incorporates prophetic worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry times. These times are geared to call individuals to a depth of the knowledge of God, intimacy with Jesus, urgency for the hour, and the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle – providing practical, Biblical foundations for following Christ in the context of night and day prayer. Through proclamation and impartation, each service is focused on providing a place for encounter with God for the individual, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the Pacific Northwest.

The Encountering God Services are not meant as a stand-alone time of ministry, but in the context of regular participation in ministering to the Lord in the prayer room. Please take the opportunity to join us for prayer meetings or times of meditating on the scriptures in the context of the prayer room – the hub of all that happens at IHOP-NW.

IHOP-Northwest has 2 different Encountering God Services

Friday evenings at 7:30 pm

Sunday mornings at 10am

Message themes differ between the Friday and Sunday services. If you are not involved in another local church body, join us Sunday mornings for the EGS!
